Welcome! I’m Jen, a movement specialist and certified yoga instructor with over a decade of experience teaching both private and group classes since 2009. My passion is to help others cultivate a sustainable movement or yoga practice that fosters a deep, embodied experience. In my classes, students are encouraged to explore their practice with curiosity, playfulness, and compassion.

Fueling my desire to bring a sustainable yoga practice to others, I have embarked on a journey studying functional anatomy and movement. I’ve completed a 300-hour Functional Yoga Advanced Teacher Training and earned certificates as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) as well as a Prenatal and Postpartum Exercise Specialist (PCES). Additionally, I hold certifications in vinyasa yoga (200-hour), prenatal yoga (100-hour), and postpartum yoga, as well as an M.Ed from Rutgers Graduate School of Education.

I believe that movement is a powerful tool to enhance our well-being in everyday life. My goal is to guide individuals in understanding how their bodies move and to adopt sustainable practices, regardless of age or life stage. Each class is thoughtfully designed to include functional movements, exercises, and yoga poses that address common postural issues, striking a balance between strength and mobility.

In addition to physical practice, I emphasize the importance of breath to strengthen the mind-body connection and cultivate mindfulness. Join me on this journey to move better and feel better!
